“Scheggia”, the new Zamak die-casting machine

From today in Eagles Engineering we have a new ally, that will make happy all of us but also all of you!!!  Scheggia is the new entry, the small but performing, streamlined and agile die-casting machine for Zamak.

We are talking about a brand new machine with a closing force of 50 tons, with high thermal insulation to minimize energy consumption and reduce the environmental impact: as in our best tradition, we always care about the preservation of our fabulous environment.

The new "toy" is always branded Agrati that guarantees the high standard of quality.

We are talking about a machine with optimal technical characteristics:

• A very high quality production with a saving of up to 70% of resources;
• Innovative and more performing with ecodrive technology;
• Equipped with electric melting basin with high thermal insulation;
• Lower noise (minus 6 dba);
• Lower CO2 emission (2150 kg for a 5kwh press);
• Lower water consumption for cooling (minus 50%);
• Closed loop pressure control with response times between 10 and 25 ms;

"Scheggia" is able to produce die-cast castings, complete product and casting, up to a maximum of 500 kg. "Scheggia" fits effectively into our range of presses ranging from 13 TON to 200 TON (do you remember our Zamak 200 ton die-casting machine?), becoming the younger sister of our beloved number 1: the first Agrati 50 TON press that was installed in Eagles.
