Eagles once again aims at modernization and optimization in the production sector with the brand new system EDS - Eagles Data System.

In a reality like that of Eagles, the data that is produced are very many: it is necessary to detect them, organize, reconstruct and carry out a constant control activity to allow timely intervention in case of anomalies in the normal production cycle.

Production data can be collected in several ways. In the production phase, it is usually based on statistics of how much every single operator produces per hour, in manual way or inserting the produced quantities in determined periods of time and multiplying them for the hours.

Unfortunately, this data cannot be accurate because a hitch during production is enough to slow down the process and falsify the figures. To provide with absolute certainty the quantities produced, it may be necessary to bypass the operators. How?

Adopting an automated system that allows data acquisition.

And it is precisely from the search for a solution to the "problem" that EDS - Eagles Data System is born. A system that, through the connection of the terminals, allows to acquire data directly from the machines, to configure them and to act with the automatic reading of the produced pieces. This new system also allows you to check the status of the single machine, ie when and how much it works, also calculating the downtime (and also reporting the cause of the stop). In addition, it performs real-time productivity analysis and checks for deviations from theoretical calculations.

In case a machine is not equipped with an internal part counter, it is possible to insert an external component, that is to place an optical part counter that will signal through a sensor the passage of the metal piece calculating the quantity produced and communicating it to the system located on the machine.

EDS - Eagles Data System is a system that allows, even remotely, to work on machines in stock, confirming the status of downtime or managing the insertion of lots and data also from external locations where the machine operates.

With this new system, Eagles calculates with extreme precision all the data that customers require, providing accurate and complete statistics that allow a calculation of costs much more reliable than in the past.
